HAROLD ULMAN, 77

 
 

Harold V. Ulman, 77, of Salineville, died December 8, 2005, in Carroll Healthcare Center after a short illness. 

 

He was born July 30, 1928, in Augusta, son of the late Floyd and Nellie Jolly Ulman. 

 

Harold was a foreman at Summitville Tile, retiring in 1991 after 44 years.

 

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, the former Joretta Reed, whom he married on Aug. 20, 1950; four sons, Duane (Lisa) Ulman of Salineville; Darrell (Pam) Ulman of Lakeview, MI; Darrin (Chris) Ulman of Mechanicstown, OH, and Durward Ulman (Connie Moody) of Frazeysburg, OH; three sisters, Margaret Fritz of Dayton, OH; Hazel Speelman of Minerva, OH, and Ruth Hosack of Carrollton, OH; and eight grandchildren.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brooke; two brothers, Foster and Joe Ulman; and a sister, Mary Ellen Yoder. 

 

Funeral services were held Dec. 12, 2005, in the Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home at Carrollton, with Pastor Dave Miller officiating.  Burial followed in Augusta Cemetery.
