My husband has many
fond memories of his Aunt Evelyn and
his beloved Uncle Dent and I myself
have alot of fond memories of Evelyn
whenever she attended a family
function such as family
weddings,showers,Birthday
celebrations and reunions both on
the Kinsey and Locke side and the
Augusta Alumni Reunion. The last
time I saw Aunt Ev was at the Locke
reunion in July she was very happy
being among family and we were all
glad to have her there. I know
myself as a christian she was
greeted by her beloved Jesus &
husband Dent and daughter Vicki and
my precious mother-in-law
Dorothy(Doots) and Uncle Dent's
brother Don Locke Sr and all the
Lockes and Leatherberrys that have
been in heaven waiting for her
heavenly arrival. Evelyn's nephew
Donnie and myself will miss Aunt
Evelyn but we know we have the
promise of seeing her again when we
get up to heaven. Our thoughts and
prayers are with the entire family
including our cousins Darrell &
family,Rick & family,late cousin
Vicki's children and grandchildren
and Elaine and Tom. We know she will
be missed by all of you as she will
be missed by all the kinsey and
locke families as well. May The
Precious Lord be with all of you
during this time of grieving and
know we are here for you and are
praying for our heavenly father to
carry you and hold you all close in
his loving arms during this sad
time. All our love in Christ from
your cousins & family.
The Augusta Cemetery
website (http://www.augustacemetery-ohio.com)
has lost a large part of its brain
and its soul. Evelyn could supply
information with loving humor on
"all things Augusta" and especially
on our Augusta Cemetery Residents.
To those who love the history of
Augusta, she can never be replaced.
Godspeed, Evelyn! God KNOWS we will
miss you!
