TRIBUTE TO
DOROTHY M. KINSEY LOCKE
November 25, 1916 - November 11, 2006
It is with a heavy heart that the Augusta
Cemetery Web Site reports the death of Dorothy May Kinsey Locke.
“Doots” was the web site’s most prolific living contributor.
Until her last days, we could count on her for any answer we needed
about the “olden days.” Although she was fast approaching ninety,
she, personally, was never “old.”
Doots was a very quiet and unassuming person – a woman of few
words. She was, however, a keen listener and observer of all life
around her. She cannot be replaced as a web site source or as my
aunt and as my friend.
The Augusta Cemetery will welcome the bodily remains of Dorothy M.
Kinsey Locke on Wednesday, November 15, 2006.
