Four Brothers Fight Uncle Sam's
Battle
Four sons of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Locke of Augusta are
in the armed forces. Pvt. Denton Locke, in England since
March, is the husband of Mrs. Evelyn Locke of Augusta, and is
attached to a field artillery unit. In the service since July,
1943, he received his preliminary training at Ft. Bragg, N. C.
Pvt. Ronald Locke, also in England, has been in the army since June,
1943 and is serving with the medical corps. Before going
overseas he was stationed at Camp Robinson, Ark. Corp. Joseph
Locke Jr. is on duty with the air corps in England. He has
been in the service since May, 1942 and was formerly stationed at
Keesler Field, Miss. Pvt. Donald C. Locke, member of an army
ordnance company in Hawaii, has been overseas 23 months. He
entered the army in April, 1942 and received his basic training at
Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md.
