LEATHERBERRY

MR. DEAN J., age 70, of Box 54, Augusta, OH, passed away at 10:25 a.m. Saturday in Molly Stark Hospital, following a six year illness.  A retired carpenter, born at Augusta, son of the late Elmer and Belle (Witherspoon) Leatherberry.  Member of the Augusta Christian Church.  Graduate of Augusta High School, Class of 1930.  Survived by wife, Josephine "Jo" (Courtheyn) of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Joyce) Handwork of North Jackson, Mrs. James (Gaye) Savory of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; two sons, Raymond of Louisville, Gary of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Boyd (Velma) Locke and Mrs. Edwin (Dorothy) Stuckey, both of Minerva; two brothers, Ernie Leatherberry of Paris, Robert Leatherberry of Stockbridge, MI; seven grandchildren.  Funeral services Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Bill Reidl officiating.  Interment in Augusta Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home Monday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
