Mrs. Lucinda Hyatt, 94 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Susan Boyd, 431 South Freedom Avenue Friday afternoon.
Mrs. Hyatt was born near Summitsville, O., Jan. 26, 1830.
Surviving are five children, Mrs. Susan Boyd at whose home she died;
C. E. Hyatt of Craig, Colo; J. F. of Iberia, Mo; T. B. of Augusta
and F. H. of Amorita, O. Also one brother, John Laughlin of
Kensington; 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the home Saturday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
Brief services will be held at the home Sunday at 12:40 with
interment at Augusta at 2:20 P. M.

Mrs. Lucinda Hyatt, 94, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Susan
Boyd of Alliance, Friday, after an illness caused by a fall in which
she fractured her hip. Burial was made in Augusta, Sunday, the
services being in charge of Rev. Harrison Davidson.
Mrs. Hyatt’s maiden name was Laughlin, and she was born Jan. 26,
1830, near Summitville. She was married June 3, 1847 to James Hyatt
who preceded her in death. She is survived by the following
children: Mrs. Susan Boyd, Alliance; J. F. Hyatt of Missouri; C. E.
Hyatt of Colorado; T. B. Hyatt of Augusta, and Frank Hyatt of
Kansas; also one brother, Jehu Laughlin, and by 17 grandchildren and
22 great-grandchildren.
