James Phillip Glover, age 78, of Malvern, died Saturday,
April 15, 2006, at Alliance Community Hospital.
Born in Moundsville, W. Va. on Aug. 2, 1927, he was the son of the
late Steven and Katie (Roberts) Glover.
Mr. Glover worked as a carpenter for American Steel Foundries, was a
member of Bayard United Methodist Church, and served in the U.S.
Army Air Corp at the end of World War II.
Survivors include his former wife, Jody Glover of Minerva; sons,
Fred (Marylou) Glover of Minerva, Don (Chong Sun) Glover of
Alliance, Ronald Glover of Alliance, Kevin Glover and daughter Katie
Glover of the home; sister, Phyllis Crummit of Newell, W.Va.;
brother, John Glover of Weirton, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Douglas
Glover of Homeworth, Samuel Glover of Alliance and Heather Glover of
Minnesota.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter,
Mary Jo, grandson, Brian Glover, two sisters and four brothers.
A Memorial Service was held at Bartley Funeral Home, Minerva, on
Wednesday, April 19, with the Rev. John Lane officiating.
Burial was in Augusta Cemetery, Augusta, Ohio.
