Rose Marie
Geffert
Rose Marie Geffert, age 82, of Minerva died in the Great
Trail Care Center following a short illness. She was born
February 8, 1925 in Bridgeport, OH to John and Lena (Yankin)
Pekol. She was the owner/operator of the Augusta Service
Station for 30 years and was a member of St. Gabriel
Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband,
Frank J. Geffert who died December 8, 1991. She is survived
by a daughter, Patricia (Ken) Michael of East Canton; a son,
Gordon (Susan) Geffert of Reno, NV; three grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren. Mass of the Christina Burial will
be Monday at 2:30 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva
with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Burial will be in
Augusta Cemetery. Calling hours will be 1/2 hour prior to
services at the church. Those unable to attend may sign the
