Thomas Gantz
HANOVERTON — Thomas F. Gantz, age 70, of 29927 Lincoln Street,
Hanoverton passed away Saturday, January 13 at Community Health Care
in Alliance at 2:20 p.m. after a lengthy illness.
He was born May 9, 1936 in Carrollton to Albert Richard and
Annabelle N. Thompson Gantz. He has lived in Hanoverton for 33
years.
Tom retired from PCC Airfoils after 46 years. He was captain and a
30-year member of the Hanoverton Fire Department.
His survivors include his wife Judith May (Kinsey) Gantz of the
residence. They were married Sept. 1, 1973. A son Kenneth (Lottie)
Roach of Kensington; three sisters, Shirley O’Hanlon of Beloit, Mrs.
Lynn (Marilyn) Deeter of Guilford Lake, Mrs. Gary (Cheryl) Syx of
Tenn.; and a brother, Richard (Hilda) Gantz of Canton; two
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald E.
Gantz.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the
Maple-Cotton Funeral Home with Pastor Llyod Campbell of the
Kensington Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow in
Augusta Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the
Maple-Cotton Funeral Home.
