Delores Jean Cox

81, of Minerva, passed away Monday, July 19th, 2010, at Minerva Eldercare, following a long illness. Delores was born in Blakely, Pa., on May 5, 1929, the daughter of the late Fred and Rosa (Silverstrim) Sayman.

Delores is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Herb) Hawkins of Kensington; three sons, John (Ruth Ann) Cox of Minerva, Richard Cox of Elmira, N.Y., Robert Cox of Minerva; three brothers: Fredrick Sayman of New Albany, Pa., Irvin Sayman of Barre, Vt., Howard Sayman of Muncy, Pa; nine grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Cox; two sisters; and a great great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held at the Bartley Funeral Home, Minerva, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 22nd, 2010, with Pastor Joe Ertl officiating. Calling hours will be held Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Bartley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Augusta Cemetery.
