Nova J
Age 83, of Minerva
passed away Monday, May 4, 2009 at Mercy Medical
Center, surrounded by family following a short
illness.
Nova was born in Mechanicstown, Ohio on September
19, 1925, the daughter of the late Amos and Laura (Hardgrove)
King.
She retired from TRW where she had worked as a
finisher for 25 years. Prior to that, she worked at
Good Roads Machinery.
Nova is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Seikel of
Malvern; a son, Larry (Gail) Courtheyn of Minerva;
granddaughter, Shari Courtheyn of Minerva; a sister,
Mary Alice Thompson of the home; two brothers, Glen
Richard King of Mechanicstown, Kenneth James (Pam)
King of Minerva;and numerous nieces and nephews. She
is preceded in death by her husband, Albert
Courtheyn; a grandson, Robert Morgan, sisters,
Audrey Zimmerman, Georgia Houze, and Marge McKenzie.
Funeral Services will be held at the Bartley Funeral
Home at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2009 with Mr.
Ralph Norman officiating. Calling hours will
be held Thursday 6-9 p.m. at Bartley Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Augusta Cemetery. Friends
