Mary Jo Woodward (Taylor's daughter), Beverly Woodward Eisel (Taylor's granddaughter) and Joseph Eisel (Taylor's great-grandson) have generously given us permission to reprint this comprehensive history of Augusta Township. (See the news for October 7, 2006.) We are honored to be able to include this on the Augusta Cemetery website.

We have put Mr. Woodward's History of Augusta Township into a Microsoft Word document for you to download and print. To download the file, you will need to RIGHT CLICK on the button below and then choose SAVE TARGET AS if you are using Internet Explorer. Then you can open the file in your Microsoft Word program and print it from there. If you do a normal click, the document will open in another browser window, which isn't the best format for printing.
